Welcome to the latest episode of "The Pin Tool Podcast," where art meets entrepreneurship. I'm your host, Al Wayman, from Creek Road Pottery LLC, guiding you through the multifaceted world of pottery and business. Today, we're diving into the topic of using screenplay structure as a project management and promotion tool.
In the book Save The Cat by Blake Snyder, there is a great outline that Blake calls a "Beat Sheet".
In this episode, we look at the Blake Snyder "Save The Cat" story structure for screen writing and apply it to our projects in the pottery.
Questions applied to the structure may be found on The Pottery Dailies substack, in an article titled The Screenplay Strategy.
Have a great week!

I was introduced to clay in a basic ceramic class at Keystone College in 1996. It was there that I saw artist and professor Bill Tersteeg turn a large bowl on his wheel. I fell in love with clay as a medium because I was able to manipulate it in many ways far easier than painting or drawing. After achieving my AFA, I then spent three years at Marywood University where I completed my BFA in Ceramics. During that time I worked as an apprentice at Wild Flower Pottery in Thompson PA, with artist Sharon DiGennaro.
